Founded in 1889, ABRSM has a long history with 120 years, it is recognized by more than 90 countries and regions worldwide. More than 600,000 examinees take part in it each year.

The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, ABRSM in short, is composed of The Royal Academy of Music, The Royal College of Music, The Royal Northern College of Music and The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
